There are a lot of people who rage quit when they lose a match in Street Fighter.
If you’re the kind of person that enjoys playing arcade games then you know the level of frustration that you feel when you’re kicking your opponent’s behind and before the fight is over he disconnects. Obviously, you lose your win and his, or her record remains intact. You just want to yell at the person to stop rage quitting and take it like a man, or a woman.
Arcade games are not for the weak nerved. And not just because there’s a fifty-fifty chance you will lose a battle even though you almost mastered the moves of a certain character. No, you must be strong in order to face those people that can’t stop rage quitting and take it like a man, or woman, when they are defeated in combat.
But it seems that the problem was signaled to the right authorities and they are actively trying to punish this kind of cowardly behavior.
Capcom is urging players to report any time they encounter such a despicable opponent in the game. All you have to do is hit the “send” button after the fight is over. Telling your rage quitting adversary that his or her mother is a very pleasant person who should have you over for some tea is optional.
Even though console gaming doesn’t feel as real as football or volleyball when the opponents actually look eye to eye during a match, competitors must show that they are capable of sportsmanship.
Street Fighter is no Counter-Strike or League of Legends, so you can’t just go around and quit whenever the match is not going your way.
In Street Fighter, your character is as good as you are. If you master the controls and the new V moves than you can defeat your opponents easily. If they too are masters of a certain character than the match will certainly prove to be interesting.
And even if you do lose you will learn the weak points of your character and know how to defend them better in the next match.
A perfect score is possible only for true masters and cheaters. So it’s possible that Capcom will start the rage quitters’ purge from there.
The game developing company has not made any official statements involving the nature of the punishment that the ragging cheaters will receive, but they did hint the fact that it will be severe. Capcom does not tolerate such behavior in their new fifth installment of the Street Fighter franchise.

Rage quitting befits small children. Mommy and daddy should confiscate their controller if big boy games prove overly stimulating.
