A Myrtle Beach McDonald’s has come under fire after a video posted on Facebook shows an irate manager ordering a homeless person to leave the restaurant while telling a client to calm down. The man wrote in the post that he too was compelled to leave the restaurant simply because he wanted to feed someone who obviously had no means.
McDonald’s Manager Criticizes Customer for Being Poor by Homeless Person
On Thursday, many Facebook users have criticized the staff of a Myrtle Beach McDonald’s restaurant for the way they’ve handled an event. Yossi Gallo wrote that he had just entered the restaurant when he saw a homeless person wandering outside the restaurant.
Gallo invited the man inside the restaurant and asked him if he had anything to eat. Seeing that the man was starving, Gallo promised him a hearty meal. However, upon going to the counter with the homeless person, a cashier bluntly told the two that the man wouldn’t get any food there
Of course, Gallo tried to explain that he will pay for his food, but the cashier wouldn’t budget. The man got upset and started yelling at the rude server until the manager arrived. Following a brief conversation with the restaurant’s manager, the staff called the authorities.
Gallo recorder the whole event and posted it on his Facebook page. During their argument, you can hear the manager telling Gallo that the homeless person isn’t allowed in the restaurant because he was seen on more than one occasions begging for food outside.
The authorities came and asked the homeless person, later identified as James Davis, to leave and never return to the restaurant. In the end, Gallo declared that this kind of attitude is why he hates the world. Seeing that he cannot reason with the staff, Gallo asked Davis to hop into his car and go to another restaurant.
