A new Call of Duty game will soon get on the market without the traditional single player mode we all know. According to the sources, Black Ops 4 will bring more multiplayer games, as well as the popular Zombie mode we all love.
Call of Duty gives up on single player campaign
Rumors say we won’t have to wait long until we will be able to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. If you enjoyed the single player campaigns in the first-person shooter, we have bad news. Sources say the developer of this title, Treyarch, will focus on extending other popular modes. This new game will feature an exclusive Zombie mode, as well as many multiplayer campaigns.
This is definitely a change, but it might not be enjoyed by all Call of Duty fans. The first person-shooter established its reputation as a game with great single player campaigns. It also featured great background stories, and offered the players a firsthand cinematic experience.
However, Call of Duty evolved over time, and now came to develop amazing multiplayer modes. Even so, developers didn’t ditch the single player campaigns completely. This is why the release of Black Ops 4 will me a unique moment in the history of the game, as this campaign will no longer be here.
Black Ops 4 will feature a Battle Royale mode
It might sound sad at first, but Black Ops 4 has other goodies to lure you with. As many first-person shooters have developed Battle Royale modes, Call of Duty couldn’t be different. This mode has gotten really popular lately, and it consists of intense battles until only one player is left standing. With this, the developers were hoping to fill the gap left by the disappearance of the single player mode.
This is quite a big achievement. In fact, it’s the first time when a big video game series adopts this type of battle mode in one of its titles. Therefore, starting October 12th, all Call of Duty fans will be able to enjoy the Battle Royale mode in the new Black Ops 4 title.
