Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple declared that 2015 is Apple’s most successful year ever. Starting with the iPhone record sales and ending with Taylor Swift changing Apple’s policy, the name Apple has been on everybody’s lips.
Only in the last quarter of the current year Apple sold 48 million iPhones making 32,2 billion $, mostly due to its huge market in China. Since the launch of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus 13 million iPhones were sold. Apple is expected to make around 77,5 billion $ until the end of January.
When Apple decided not to pay the musicians during the 3 months free trials that were offered to the subscribers of Apple Music, Taylor Swift took note of this. She then decided to take a stance against the new Apple policy and addressed an open letter to Apple. It was posted on Taylor Swift’s Tumblr account.
Apple took Taylor’s letter into consideration and promised the musicians to pay them even during the free trial period. As a thank you present, Taylor offered her latest album-1989, to be streamed for the first time. She even gave up her rights to the 1989 World Tour documentary that will be airing on December 20.
When news of the new Apple watch launch came, everybody was ecstatic. It didn’t last long though, as Apple brought other news saying that the purchase of the watch will be possible only from the online Apple shop. Six months after the online launch, due to high demands, Apple watch was made available in stores as well.
The new MacBook launched by Apple this year is truly a super computer. In theory that is. Apparently its USB-C connector makes the laptop incompatible with a lot of devices one owns. Also, the keyboard is hard to use. The problem is that the technologies this MacBook uses are not yet standard and that means that people who bought the laptop will have to face a lot of struggles. Until then, we advise you to buy an older version and wait a little longer until this laptop will be easy to operate.
Even if you are not an Apple fan you must admit that 2015 is Apple’s most successful year ever.
