The Christmas spirit is already here, as Ubisoft has decided to offer some special gifts to its loyal fans. This year, the company celebrates the anniversary of two classic games, so it decided this was the perfect moment to release them for free download. The games in question are World in Conflict and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
Ubisoft makes us a great gift this holiday season
World in Conflict turns 10 this year, as well as the entire Assassin’s Creed franchise. Ubisoft thought this was a good reason to celebrate, so players will get a special surprise this holiday season. Only this December, players will be able to download the first title, together with the fourth game in the Assassin’s Creed series. Both of them will be available on Uplay PC for free.
The free download period is limited, but players will get to keep the games even afterwards. However, they have to be quick enough and get the games while they’re free. You can download Black Flag starting December 12th at 6 a.m. PST up until December 18th at 2 a.m. PST. World in Conflict will get here first, together with its Soviet Assault expansion. These will be available between December 4th, 9 a.m. PST, and December 11th, 2 a.m. PST.
Both games should remain available even after the free download period ends
You need a Uplay account to download the games so, if you don’t have one, you should hurry up and create one. Afterwards, you shouldn’t have a hard time finding the free games, as they’re carefully advertised on the front page through a big banner.
As mentioned above, you shouldn’t worry about losing the games once the holiday offer is over. If you followed all instructions and downloaded the games correctly, then Black Flag and World in Conflict should remain in your Uplay account even afterwards.
