The teaser for Titanfall 2 was released, and the gaming community is hyped. Judging from the 44 seconds of cinematics and dramatic monolog, there will be a bit of a backstory in the second installment of Electronic Art’ multiplayer FPS.
In the first installment of the game, players were able to control mech-style Titans. The characters are pilots that enter the Titans and engage in massive six-on-six battles. The action is set on several colonies situated in outer space. And the overall gameplay is optimized for continual, fast-paced action.
The Titans are able to run into walls and control robot soldiers. They were first designed as armors for their human pilots but ended up being exoskeletons resemble battle tanks more than armors.
Titanfall was released on the 8th of April, 2014. Ever since it has gathered plenty of fans and positive reviews from gaming critics. The multiplayer FPS won more than 60 awards ever since its reveal at the 2013 edition of the E3.
Now, just in time for the 2016 edition of the E3, the teaser for Titanfall was released, and the fans are hyped. The armor seems changed, hinting at the possibility of it wielding a sword.
While the first installment features a few cinematics and a hint of a background story, it may be that the second part will bring more of the back story into focus.
“People like you always want to be the hero. The problem with being a hero is you have to be willing to die for what you believe in. If I were you, I wouldn’t try so hard. You’ll live longer.”
Says a voice with a deep English accent while a Titan approaches a clearing. When it comes to teaser trailers, Electronic Arts knows how to attract the attention of the fans, wire them up, making them hold their breath until more details are revealed during the E3 conference.
The Teaser for Titanfall 2 was released, and now fans are waiting for EA’s keynote on the 12th of June to find out more details about the much awaited multiplayer game.
Another good news is that Respawn finally decided to include PlayStation owners in the Titanfall universe. Unlike the first installment, Titanfall 2 will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
There are already many theories circulating the teaser that Electronic Arts released, but until the 12th of June, all fans can do is speculate.
