And the winner of this week’s ‘businesses not suitable for home’ award goes to a Pennsylvania couple who was recently taken into custody for running a brothel in their own home. The authorities managed to bring down the nefarious business after the couple’s roommate complained about hearing strange noises coming from their rooms.
Pennsylvania Couple Running a Brothel Has a Small Child, Authorities Revealed
If you thought that your home business idea is stupid, then here’s what a couple from Pennsylvania did for a couple of extra bucks at the end of the month.
The story begins with the people sharing the same apartment as 27-year-old Lukas Trout and 26-year-old Brittany Patrick calling the authorities. According to the police report, Trout and Lukas’s roommates heard strange sounds coming from the couple’s rooms and them receiving visits from suspicious people.
After hearing the complaint, the authorities began investigating their claims, only to find a rather unsavory ad posted by Patrick herself on an adult website. According to this ad, which authorities reveal that it was hosted on Escort Babylon, the woman was looking for elderly gentlemen, loaded with money.
Of course, Patrick ended her ad by writing that she’s not fooling around because she doesn’t like playing games.
After the ad was discovered, an undercover agent posing as a customer called Trout and arranged a ‘discreet’ meeting with the ‘brilliant’ author of the said ad.
Based on the police report, we discover that, upon arriving at the location, he was greeted by Trout, Patrick’s boyfriend, and directed to the bedroom where the ‘transaction’ was due to occur.
More than that, before taking the undercover agent to the make-shift brothel, the man allegedly introduced him to his 18-month-old son, his roommates, and their children.
Needless to say, the Pennsylvania brothel owners were taken completely by surprise when the customer revealed that he’s an undercover agent and that they’re under arrest.
