The Ohio woman stuck her tongue out during mugshot.
Because driving and drinking just don’t mix, we give you the story of an Ohio woman who did both during the same day. As that wasn’t enough to prove a point, she was also charged with aggravated menacing, after telling a woman that she’s going to burn down her home.
Ohio Woman Put on a Show at the Police Station
Last week, 32-year-old Amber Legge, a Piqua resident, was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence. This might not sound too newsworthy, but there’s more to the story.
According to the Ohio authorities, last week, around evening, the police officers were summoned to a Piqua home by a woman who told them that Legge threatened to kill her.
When the authorities arrived at the location, the victim told the officer that Legge came to her home drunk as a skunk and asked for her money back. The woman told Legge that she didn’t owe her any money.
However, the Ohio woman insisted that she needs her money now. When the victim asked Legge to leaver her house, she allegedly became violent. First, she threatened to kill her and, after leaving the house, she kept hollering about how she’s going to burn her home to a cinder if she doesn’t get her money back.
Allegedly, after leaving the woman’s house, Legge, who already had one too many drinks before arriving, got into her car and drove off.
Later that evening, the Ohio woman was pulled over by the authorities and arrested for DUI. Not even a trip to the station didn’t seem to bother the woman who, according to the arresting officers, got her tongue out of her mugshot.
Needless to say, the officers were far from amused. The Ohio woman will remain behind bars pending her trial, as she posted no bail.
