Office work is dull and repetitive, most of the time. Most people don’t have any boundaries when it comes to imagining new ways of passing the time. This was the case of a high-ranking Louisiana tourism official, who thought of a great way to kill some time and to spice up her marriage at the same time.
Lynn Dorsey is the Webster Parish Convention and Visitor Bureau’s executive director, and model employee. However, a recent even made the board directorate question Dorsey’s work-related activities.
During work time, Dorsey thought of a great way to kill two birds with one stone: to make her husband happy and to make the time pass quicker. Probably all of us know that viral internet trend called ‘Send Nudes,’ where people would use diverse objects such as domino tiles, spaghetti, and other stuff to spell the message and to send it to their significant others.
Taking advantage of live streaming, Dorsey made a spicy adult video just for her husband’s eyes only. This would have been the perfect scheme if fate hadn’t intervened.
In her haste to send the naughty video to her husband’s Instagram account, Dorsey forgot that her phone was still logged on the institution’s Instagram account. Unfortunately, it was too late to correct the mistake.
And so, on the 19th of December, instead of seeing useful information from the Webster Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau, the users were greeted by a spicy adult video, starring none other than Lynn Dorsey, the institution’s executive director. Things got even worse, as all users subscribed to the institution’s Instagram account received notifications.
Naturally, this kind of office behavior did not go unpunished. Lynn Dorsey, the Louisiana executive director who leaked the adult clip, was placed on paid administrative leave, and now await the board of director’s decision.
However, it would seem that thinks are not as bad as they seem. Jerry Madden, the Board’s President, and implicitly, Dorsey’s superior, seemed rather amused by the incident. Madden declared that Dorsey’s leave is not to be viewed as a disciplinary action.
In addition, the Board’s President said that even though the incident is regrettable, the Board is ready to forgive Dorsey’s actions since she is new to Instagram and that she probably hit the wrong button when she tried to send the clip to her husband.
We will keep you appraised should there be any developments in the case of the Louisiana executive director’s case.
