The refreshed iPhone 6S was launched for pre-order on Saturday. Apple is already enjoying a massive crowd looking for the new iPhone 6 ahead of the September 25th official market release.
And surprisingly, it looks like besides the tech improvements, the refreshed color palette is drawing quite a number of customers. With 2 gigabytes of RAM, a 12MP rear camera and the anticipated 3D Force Touch technology incorporated, Apple’s new phone is ready for a force comeback.
According to AppleInsider, early customers seem to be highly interested in the Rose Gold option. Apple’s lucky strike on the Chinese market is already being felt with reports stating that in Hong Kong pre-orders have already reached a record high.
There isn’t much novelty to the new iPhone 6S compared to the previous year releases. Both Apple phones available for pre-order sport the same 5.5-inch and 4.7-inch displays respectively.
Besides the reports indicating that the Rose Gold leads pre-orders for now, some others show that the 5.5-inch iPhone 6S Plus is an early favorite as well. All models, be they 16GB, or 64GB and 128GB in all color options, from Gray to Rose Gold, Silver and Gold are now well into 3 to 4 weeks availability dates regarding shipping. The shipping time seems to be the same for all U.S. major wireless carriers.
However, September 25th is not that far. And if you’re into getting your hands on the 4.7-inch iPhone 6S as it hits retailers, both AT&T and Sprint seem to still provide you with the choice of the color and capacity of your future Apple device.
Verizon and T-Mobile showed 2 to 3 weeks availability for the sought Rose Gold models.
