The famous GoPro Camera is going to be designed and sold to a lot more people, not just the usual passionate of sports, some quite risky ones.
GoPro has marketed an incredible number of its small activity cameras all over the globe. These cameras are widely used by many daredevils or thrill-seekers as an efficient way of filming near-death activities.
The GoPro is our modern-day edition of the video camera, when we go on a holiday. Its advertising strategy will make you think that the cameras are developed for people living their life on the edge, but the Hero4 Session and Hero4 Silver are designed to fit right into regular tourists adrenaline-free lifestyle. Now, anyone can have many hours of filming that their spouse will view and giggled at, several times.
We have mobile phones that can do exactly the same stuff as the GoPro, but there is something about the convenience of a devoted digital camera. Press some button and the gadget starts filming, so you do not have to fear about a phone calls or written text disturbing your recording session. Even more, you can hand with confidence a GoPro to any kid and let him have his without worrying a damaged show on a $800 smart phone.
The Hero4 Session costs $399 and it is the tiniest camera that the company has launched up to now. Its 1.5” cube is water resistant and designed to hold up against a reasonable amount of misuse. The Session has 8 mega-pixel images and up to 1440p video clips. The camera can be dropped, hit, or thrown into water (remember, it is waterproof). To many users’ shock, the digi cam survives the abuse and all this while documenting the adventures in your trip and conversation between tourists.
The most frustrating part of the Session is its long delay after a record button is pushed and when the digi cam actually begins filming, which some calculated to be around 3 seconds. It is a time that seems like forever when you seriously want to catch a special moment on camera, and because of this wait, a few minutes can be skipped unfortunately.
The Hero4 Session does not have a screen for watching photos taken or making the necessary improvements, depending instead on its GoPro smart phone application for the added performance. Modifying the camera’s configurations is easy after you have linked the digi cam to a smart phone, but the procedure does not get itself to fast changes immediately. In addition to this, leaving the Wi-Fi option turned on will consume a lot of the device’s overall battery power.
