During a recent press conference, Missouri police authorities declared that the body of Frank Ancona, a Ku Klux Klan member, was found on a riverbed by local fisherman. According to the coroner’s report, Ancona died after being shot in the head with a high-caliber weapon. Ancona was declared missing on Friday by his wife.
The Missouri authorities are currently investigating the disappearance and murder of St. Louis Traditional American Knights member Frank Ancona. The initial investigation revealed that Ancona went missing on Thursday, but his wife only reported his vanishing on Friday.
Sheriff Zach Jacobsen declared that Frank Ancona was employed at a delivery company, which would often send him to honor contracts in other states. Before leaving home, Frank Ancona, who’s also an Imperial Wizard at the Ku Klux Klan chapter house, told his wife that he was to make a delivery on Wednesday.
However, the man failed to return the company’ calls on Wednesday. Baffling enough, Ancona’s wife notified the authorities regarding the man’s disappearance on Friday, this being the reason why the police is considering her a person of interest in Ancona’s case.
Jacobsen declared that before his wife called the police on Wednesday, the man’s abandoned vehicle was discovered by a couple of Federal Forest Service employees. On Friday, the strange case of Ancona’s disappearance started to take shape after a band of local fishers told the authorities that they’d seen a human body lying on a riverbed.
A coroner from Missouri identified the body as belonging to the late Frank Ancona and stated that the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. Jacobsen said that Ancona’s murder was both brutal and senseless taking into account the fact that the man was held in high regard by the community despite the fact that he was an active member of the Ku Klux Klan chapter.
The investigation revealed that before leaving his home, Frank Ancona took most of his firearms with him. Furthermore, Ancona’s house from Leadwood was robbed, probably the same day. The authorities said that the man’s safe was forced open and that its contents were removed.
Jacobsen declared that the safe could have been emptied by either Ancona or, probably, his wife, who’s now a person of interest in Ancona’s case.
This is an on-going investigation. Should there be any developments in the case, we will keep you apprised.
